Vaccum Pumps
A vacuum pump is a device that removes air from a sealed volume in order to leave behind a partial vacuum which is used in particular by wood workers.
The Vac Pot Clamping System makes a great addition to any workshop for instant work holding and is the latest quality product to be developed by AirPress Developments. The versatile Vac Pots can be powered by any of the vacuum pumps in AirPress Developments range, or via their new, low cost venturi vacuum generators linked to your compressor.
How it works

- Instantly holds panels firmly for routing, sanding, polishing and much more
- Can be used for holding wood, glass metal, plastic etc.
- Fits to any size of panel – will not mark workpiece
- Runs off vacuum pump or compressor
Simply place the work piece on top, the nylon ball valve retracts to create a vacuum between the rubber gasket and the panel. The panel is now held firmly in position and spaced off the bench to allow clearance for router, cutters, drills, saw blades etc.
